Hurts Donut Company opened in Branson in October of 2017. We stopped in soon after they opened and tried it out. They have a variety of toppings on the donuts like Oreo cookies, M & M's, Reese's, different cereals, and even bacon! They do offer the classic glazed donut as well. Donut names include the Bart Simpson, E.T., Oreo Cheese Cake, Moose Munch, Andes Mint, Jesus, Fred Flintstone, Red Velvet, Twix, plus many more.
It has a fun decor including several swings that overlook highway 76. How do you know which bathroom to use while there? By the type of donut on the doors (see the picture below)!
It is located in the Dick Clark Theater (in what was a restaurant) which is across from The Dixie Stampede. If you feel the need to work off the calories from the donuts you can head over to Fritz's Adventure which is across the street.
If you're looking for a fun stop in Branson try the Hurts Donut Company!

Traffic on highway 76 can be very slow at times. The worst times are when the shows are starting (7:00 ish) and over (10:00 ish). Over the years they have built traffic relief routes so tourists and locals can avoid this. However, a lot of tourists probably aren't aware of where they are or don't figure it out until it's time to go home.
The traffic relief routes are color coded on this map and there are signs around Branson marking the roads. The colors are red, blue, and yellow. Our Branson condos are located on the Yellow route (Green Mountain Drive) which parallels highway 76 most of the way around. Use this route to avoid heavy traffic. There are many places to cut back to highway 76 to get where you are going.
If you have never been to Branson then it's worth driving down highway 76 (The Strip) at least once. There is a lot to look at and you might find something to do that you were not aware of.
